Hi my name is Andrew Marek and this is my first blog, I'm known as the Playground Man and have been supporting people with playground advise and development since 89.
I have worked with the Early Child Hood Sector, Primary/ High Schools and Private Play Environments. I know there is wide range of what people think a playground is, I believe a playground is any environment that allows for creative play.

My name is Andrew Marek and I am the manager of Creative Playgrounds. We have provided a specialised service for the early childhood industry, primary schools and high schools since 1989.

Creative Playgrounds provides services in the following areas:

We plan, create and establish the following:

  • Outdoor play environments that encourage active and creative play using natural and man made materials.
  • Shade structures, soft fall areas, artificial grass, rubber surfacing, fencing and fence screening.
  • Sandpits and sandpit covers, multipurpose tracks. Quiet areas, amphitheatres, tables and seating.
  • Climbing equipment suited for 0-5 years or 6-12 years, swings, barricades and bumper pads.
  • Low maintenance and sensory gardens with various arrangements of suitable plants, trees and shrubs.
  • Any excavating, levelling, drainage, turf, garden edging, reinforced concrete footings and bases.
  • Brick paving, stencilled concrete, retaining walls and the placement of natural and artificial rock.
  • Computerised and manual irrigation systems suited to children's playgrounds.
  • Water play areas, bird baths, bridges, pathways, focal points, gazebos and archways.
  • Any other aspects of outdoor playgrounds as requested by clients.
